The Diabetes Education Centre of Parry Sound and Area Communities has been established to provide you with programs and resources to help you manage your diabetes successfully and to enjoy all that life has to offer. Many studies have shown that people who receive education in diabetes self management can reduce their risk of diabetes related complications. Please explore our site and download information at your convenience.

We are funded by the Northern Diabetes Health Network.  We accept self referrals, and our services are provided at no cost.

Along with serving the Town of Parry Sound and surrounding area communities, we provide services to the communities of Wasauksing, Shawanaga, Magnetawan, Henvey Inlet and Moose Deer Point. In addition, outreach via telehealth to the following five nursing stations; Rosseau, Britt, Point au Baril, Whitestone and Argyle may be arranged as necessary.
